The AAP, along with First Candle SIDS Alliance and Health Canada recommend the removal of the traditional bumper pad as soon as your baby moves about the crib, a milestone that occurs between 4 and 8 months. JELLYSTONE PARK and SIX FLAGS

What an amazing weekend we had. We took the kids camping and to Six Flags. This I would have to say was the most funnest trip we have taken the kids on EVER!!! Jellystone is one of the best places to take the kids if you want a fun, no hassle, down to basic, old time family fun time with your kids. Too many vacations are spent driving in a long car ride or on a long plane trip and spending too much money on the kids. When all they want to do is use there imagination and hang out with the family away from all that technology entertainment. At Jellystone, there was crafts, games, entertainment etc, for the kids on every hour for them to be involved in. At night we made campfires, roasted marshmallows, made smores, BBQ, made new friends and long lasting memories that we will have forever. We are definitely going back!!!During the day we hopped over to Six Flags for a few hours each day..and boy was that a BLAST!!! Spending time at the water park, roller coasters, water rides and lots of ice cream!!

A DAISY TO A BROWNIE

Well it is offical...Alyssa is a BROWNIE!!! She bridged over from being a Daisy to a Brownine. I always loved the scouts when I was little and I know my daughter will really enjoy it too. So far she LOVES it!! Our family is so blessed to enjoy the opportunity of this wonderful program. Alyssa will make wonderful friendships that will last a lifetime. But the most important is the special memories she will have..

 

 

 

Mother/ Daughter Tea Party

Over the weekend, Alyssa and I attended a Mother/Daughter Tea Party. We had so much fun!!! They served us little tea sandwiches and petifore's. She got to pick out a tea cup and we dined on yummy lemonade. There was also a fashion show of fashion dating back to the 1800's to current time. Her and I had so much fun. If you ever get a chance to celebrate that mother and daughter special bond between you and your daughter, this is such a special way to do that.

 

Here is another darling picture of my new little nephew. He is smiling!! I love it. I think he is happy to be out next to his mommy and daddy or he just ate and he is happy because he has a full tummy!!! What a special Mother's Day for my sister!!!

Mother's Day

Mother's Day is fast approaching and it really is a day to reflect on all the special moments in time that our little blessings have given us. Everyday is such a blessing with my family, my kids and my husband!! I pray and thank our Lord, Jesus Christ everyday for giving me this wonderful vocation of being a mother.
