Busy weekend!!!

Alyssa selling girl scout cookies

Ann, Michelle, Kim and Me

Well I made it to my 20th High School reunion and it was so much fun. It was great to see so many of my classmates from High School. As soon as we arrived back into town Zac had his music class and Alyssa went out to sell girl scout cookies. Watching Zac pound on those drums really makes me love taking him to class. That way he can let himself go crazy in class and Mommy doesn't have the drums at home. Which would really HURT my ears listening to Zac pounding on the drums all day long!

Zac is CONFUSED

When Zac saw the camera he was not sure if he should say CHEESE or make the sound of a CHOO CHOO train. There was a CHOO CHOO train behind the car. This is really cute. Zac gets so excited when he sees trains!!!

Zac Did His First Poo Poo On The Potty-YIPPEE

Well it is offical, Zac did his first poo poo on the potty. At only 23 months, I can't believe he did it. I gave him a bunch of musical books and he sat there for about 15 minutes. I guess if I sat him there long enough, something would eventually come out. Afterwards we both did the biggest poo poo on the potty dance!!! Zac was so proud of himself. He loves to just sit there now and just read until something happens. WAY TO GO ZACHARY!!!!

Santa's call

Well Alyssa and Zac received there Santa call today. Santa was so excited about how well Alyssa has been doing with all her chores, helping mommy around the house and how well she has been doing in school!! Santa reminded Alyssa and Zac that there is only 100 days until Christmas. After Santa's call, they could not wait to put on last years Christmas PJ's!!! Santa asked Alyssa to make out her list of toys she wanted and she told Santa she would make her list of toys that she would like to give to children that may not be receiving a whole bunch of toys at Christmas. At that moment I thought to myself, that is my daughter and she has really turned out to be such a thoughtful little girl to think of others and not just herself. I love that!!!:)))) THAT'S MY GIRL!!!

Reading a book, Apple picking and playing with bubbles

What a fun weekend we had. Alyssa and Zac got haircuts and the we went over to Katarina's house to pick apples and blow up some really cool bubbles!! Thanks Katarina for such a fun day!! We can't wait to plant apple trees at our new house. It will be perfect for the kids to just go right outside and fill up buckets of apples. Then we can make applesauce and lots of apple pies!!!

Accent Quiz--Try it!!!

Okay, so I took this fun quiz just to see what kind of accent I have. Borned and raised in Chicago for the first 18 years of my life, I now have lived in Southern Ill. for the past 18 years. Just thought you might get a kick out of it. If you have time, take the quiz and post your results under this post where it says comments. I will be interested in hearing from all of you. I hope you find my blog fun and you get a little smile on your face. Considering how busy our lives can be, a giggle and a smile is sometimes what we need a little of everyday:)
What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The Inland North

You may think you speak "Standard English straight out of the dictionary" but when you step away from the Great Lakes you get asked annoying questions like "Are you from Wisconsin?" or "Are you from Chicago?" Chances are you call carbonated drinks "pop."

The Midland
The Northeast
Philadelphia
The South
The West
